Winter Monochromes 2011

3 Images in a unique light.
All shot in my backyard at aprox 4:30pm today
It was snowing and if it was clear there would be a sunset.
Well it was overcast, but the light at that level came through
the overcast and illuminated the scene.
Very cool!

I will repost these in natural colour for interest sake.

An Artists Impression

This is a painting by a friend in Mexico
He is a regular friend here and used one of my images
of a Blue Jay as inspiration!
Thanks Rousz...I love it!

The Future is Bright

With every winter day so dark and white
one must remember the future is bright
A splash of colour will brighten your day...
your patience will be needed
because its six months away!

Many Seasons Have Past

An old rake that I have used as garden art for many summers
now finds its place as winter interest
Its close to a bird feeder and on many occasions a Blue Jay
will perch on the missing tines, and someday I will get my shot!

Nocturnal Steamship

At my company Christmas party recently held at a hall
on the Gravenhurst Wharf I noticed the restored steamship
The Segwun across the bay
So with my trusted point and shoot on my belt I captured
these images...wish I had my big boys with me.
but I think they still show what my eye did.
