Forest fire season is upon us.
This is a Canadair CL 415 water bomber
He will swoop into a lake at 105 knots speed
and scoop up 1000 to 1200 gallons of water
then off to drop his pay load on a fire.
My wife Robyne is in the second shot to give you
a better idea of how big this bad boy really is.
They truly are an amazing piece of aviation engineering ... and beautiful too! :)
