You screw up and find a gem!

 

My story is simple

I was lining up the shot

making all the adjustment

for perfect focus and exposure

when a wayward Chimp

jumped me and stole my camera

I chased him off and he dropped my rig

and I found that Chimps eye!

cool eh!

Nocturnal Hunter

 

Darkness and quiet

But the late night breeze

Perched and still

Only the swivel atop her shoulders

Vision piercing through the black

Absolute patience

 

Far below...movement with a rustle

 caught her eye

No hesitation, shoulders raised

She drops, gliding without a beat

Talons bared

 

Seconds of struggle for life

The Nocturnal Hunter

lifts off with quarry

retreating to the dark...
