Wow, he is so gorgeous. His red head is so stunning in the sunshine! I have only seen a pileated woodpecker once here. I was so excited and surprised that they are so large. It sounded like he was playing the bongo drums in the trees. Woody the Woodpecker was apparently a pileated woodpecker!
