Lens Flare

I Love to shoot into the sun,

you can get some very interesting effects

like these Lens Fare images

Woodland Reflections

Tempted by the blackberry

in a wild, and tangled rift,

treading lightly to avoid

the thorns reminder of a gift:

How timely is that visitor

who turns another page,

mellow and plaintive there

measuring my ticking age,

years concertina and in the round

sums up a life time with a sound;

what draws me here, beckons me to stay

as down into a pool I point away,

the suns arc, reflecting what I said

has made my world with neurons in my head,

my image, broken by a fallen cone.

I have a centre that ripples on

and all my seasons begin and end

and a ring around these trees my friend.

Personal Portraits

Jack frosts Lair

Frozen white and crisp

Ice dark and cold

Jack's home

Frost has  a hold on anyone so bold

Simple cold quiet and still

Is the beauty of winter frill.

Blue

I am so blue

blue for you

when all around is white

something is not quite right

I yearn for some blue Daffodil light

Let winter pass and give a clue

that spring will be back as it is due.

Accumulation

1 day to the

next!!

The snow on our back deck.
imagine 4 days!

A Dream for Spring

On this day of more snow

4 ft in the last 4 days

one has distant memories

of a better time

Spring!

Winter Light

Oak Leaf Down

The leaf once so loft

now down on soft,

a pillow of snow

soft, white and cold

now to pass through time

and be broken down

to nurture the next to come.

Frozen Sunset

In seed time learn,

in harvest teach,

in winter enjoy.

A New Year Wish

2014

a year of trying times

for me and my whole family

as time ticks down to a New Year

my wish is for more to laugh about

than to cry about.

A simple wish for me and all of you.

Thanks so much for viewing and appreciating

these past years

Another Year Drifts Past

The river that is life

drifts like time

 past our stationary lives

Evidence That Wildlife Passed

The evidence is clear

 Wildlife has passed through here

Under the cover of darkness?

Or just without a witness.

Anyway, one thing is clear,

there is wildlife near.
