Elvis Lives...

The last sighting of Elvis was in Toledo Ohio
where he was working as a fry cook.
Before that he was spotted posing as a speed bump
on Hollywood boulevard.
He is the man of a thousand faces.
Just today I caught him in my backyard, doing his best impersonation of a Starling!
His wardrobe gave him away! not to mention that haircut!

Cold Duck..Anyone?

Mallards enjoying some cold sunshine
At the head waters of the Severn River
at the North end of Lake Couchiching
in the hamlet of Washago

For those not in the know
there is a very thrifty wine called Cold Duck.
its about as drinkable as the name!

At the end of Day...

We shall rest
in preparation for the long week ahead
and to remember our days past.
We hope to rejuvenate, come out fresh!
and at the end of the day...were home at last!

Dream Works

Man on The Moon

Hardly a feature in the evening sky
As yet-near the horizon the cold glow
Of rose and mauve, as you look on high,
Deepens to Giotto's dream of indigo.
