Avian Party

These American Robins
enjoyed a drunken feast of Mountain Ash berries
After several frosts these berries began to ferment
and when you have 15 plus Robins full of the juice,
some casualities are bound to happen!
2 dead bouncing off windows,
and the rest with hangovers the next day.
Never drink and fly!

  1. My mountain ash berries never last long enough to ferment! I'm always in awe when I see Mountain Ash trees 'LOADED' with berries in the city late fall/early winter ... they were not visited by my birds! LOL! There is usually not a berry left by the end of September.
