Many a time a photographer has done his best to sneak up on an unsuspecting bird. More often than not that bird is fully aware of you! Sometimes its best to sit back and realize that you may not get that perfect shot, the one that is all bird. Be aware of the surroundings, the birds natural habitat. Wildlife artist Robert Bateman
will often have the bird or animal as a small part of a large scene. This series are examples of this idea. The subject is present but the scenery around it makes the image that much more interesting...this of course is just my point of view, what do you think?
