Colour takes a back seat to shape, texture, detail, shadows and highlights.
There are a multitude of great colour images of flowers in abundance,
but I find that a great capture in black and white adds a fine art impact to
your flower image.So the next time you see a beautiful flower take two, one in colour and one in monochrome and you will be surprised at what has that special feeling.
