A Murder of Crows is a more poetic term for a flock of crows, it can be traced back at least to the 15th century. there are several theories as to how this term came about, but all of the have to do with the supposed behavior of crows. My favorite is the group of crows that pass judgement on others of their kind, also known as a "parliament of crows". It hearkens back to old folklore which told of groups of crows holding court over members of their flock. If they decide against the "defendant" crow, then the rest of the flock swoops down and kills it. There are legends that relate to crows being judges over people as well, and how there appearance is an omen of death.
This particular Murder was taken on the Muskoka River in a spring day in late April, they were very back lit
so I removed any colour present and you have what looks like a heated debate! Anyway around here this is a sign of spring and an end to winter, so I'm not sure the glove fits?
